ACCESS & ACCESSIBILITY

⚠️Temporary closure: from August 25 to September 7 inclusive

The Walloon Public Transport Museum will be exceptionally closed to the public from Monday, August 25 to Sunday, September 7 inclusive, due to roof renovation works.

Ongoing Renovation Work at the Museum

The Museum of Public Transport in Wallonia has begun major renovation work, focusing on the building’s roof and the cafeteria area. These improvements are part of our commitment to preserving heritage and enhancing the quality of our visitor services.

The Museum Remains Open

Despite the ongoing work, the museum remains open to the public and continues to welcome visitors during its regular opening hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Weekends: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Some areas of the exhibition route may be temporarily affected. We are doing everything possible to ensure a quality visit and to minimize any inconvenience.

Cafeteria and Visitor Services

Due to ongoing construction work, some temporary adjustments are to be expected:

The cafeteria will be closed on weekends, public holidays, and every morning during the week.

In case of extreme heat, the museum may be exceptionally closed on certain weekends to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.
